"Truth To Power" Preaching Intensive

March- April 2025

Registration Ends March 1, 2025

The “Truth To Power” Preaching Intensive is designed to sharpen and help students standout in their preparation and presentation of the gospel message. Designed with four weekly teaching sessions and preaching workshops with Dr. Mitchell and private one-on-one coaching for each participant- the intensive builds on the basic preaching principles covered in the CCA Cohort and take them to the next level.

Join us on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. est (or via replay) as Dr. Mitchell provides a framework for youth leaders and youth workers to design impactful summer programming for student ministries. Webinar attendees will leave with practical tools to design, fulfill, and fund summer programming initiatives for this calendar year. Replay is available for registrants who cannot attend live.

The Connecting The Call Network

The Connecting The Call Network is designed to connect young preachers, associate ministers, and pastors to community and continuing education that empowers them to change the world. Membership in the CCA Network comes with lifetime access to Dr. Mitchell’s “Firm Foundations” course (launching March 2025) and monthly group coaching calls and training sessions with Dr. Mitchell and guest presenters from a variety of ministry foci and experience. Participants will also gain access to our private community to engage in conversation and community building with peers and guest presenters.

Meet Dr. Mitchell

Dr. Joshua L. Mitchell is a native of Baltimore, MD and currently resides in Richmond, VA where he serves as the pastor of the historic 31^st Street Baptist Church. With two decades of ministerial experience on several church staffs and as a sought-after preacher, professor and consultant- Dr. Mitchell has a heart to equip young ministers with tools to help accelerate their effectiveness in the work of ministry.
